Morning Times <3

A/N: Okay, this is not a part of the two-shot but it's built off it, just because.

Echo awoke slowly, enjoying the feeling of the sun on her skin and lying next to someone who actually didn't leave in the night like usual. It had been two weeks since the rave party, and this had become something of a given for them: Skulduggery brought up moving in once, so in a couple of weeks...

She smiled, stretching subtly so he wouldn't wake up. How she wished she could get up and make him pancakes or something, but he couldn't eat them. For his birthday it was tradition for her to make a cupcake that she would enjoy because he wouldn't, but he didn't need to know that. He probably didn't even know that every year since she was 12 she celebrated his birthday, even if he didn't.

Echo sighed, looking at Skul's skull. She had to smile again, because it was just... a little cute. Somehow. Even she did not know.

Pancakes sound nice.
